Corral Panels Structure and Configuration

The structure of Corral Panels can be selected according to animal size, enclosure function and the required spacing between rails or mesh openings. Tubular rail panels are commonly used for larger livestock, while welded mesh infill panels provide smaller openings for calves, sheep and other smaller animals.

Rail quantity, tube profile, panel height and connection method can be adjusted to suit different enclosure layouts and handling requirements.

Tubular Rail Panels

Tubular rail panels are manufactured by welding multiple horizontal steel tubes between the side frames. Five-rail and six-rail configurations are commonly produced, while the number of rails and the spacing between them can also be customized.

Round, square and oval tubes are available. Tube dimensions and wall thickness can be selected according to panel size and required structural strength.

Welded Mesh Infill Panels

Welded wire mesh can be fixed inside the steel tube frame to form a complete panel. Mesh opening, wire diameter and mesh dimensions can be produced to match the required frame size.

The mesh can be welded directly to the surrounding frame, while frame tube size and mesh specification can be adjusted according to project drawings or required panel dimensions.

Cattle Crush / Squeeze Chute

A Cattle Crush / Squeeze Chute can be incorporated into a cattle handling area to restrain animals during inspection, vaccination, weighing, tagging and other routine farm operations.

Depending on the design, the unit can include a Head Gate for controlling the head or neck, side restraint structures, access doors and operating mechanisms. The equipment can be positioned at the end of a handling lane formed by the surrounding panels.

Surface Treatment

Hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated finishes are available according to outdoor exposure, corrosion protection requirements and customer specifications.

For powder-coated panels, different colors can be supplied according to project or market requirements.

Custom Corral Panels

QB METAL can manufacture Corral Panels according to drawings, samples or specified dimensions. Panel height and length, rail quantity, tube profile, tube dimensions, welded mesh specification, connection components, gates and surface treatment can all be customized.

Matching Cattle Crush / Squeeze Chute units, Head Gates and livestock gates can also be supplied according to the required farm layout.
