Welded Wire Fence
Overview
QB METAL supplies a range of finished welded wire fence systems, including 358 High Security Fence, BRC Fence, Curvy Welded Mesh Fence, and Double Wire Fence. Different panel structures are available to meet various security levels, appearance requirements, and installation conditions. Panel size, wire diameter, mesh opening, post type, surface treatment, and color can all be customized according to project requirements.
Welded wire fence systems are widely used for residential areas, industrial facilities, public infrastructure, schools, warehouses, commercial properties, and high-security perimeter protection.
Welded wire fences are generally manufactured from low carbon steel wire and can also be made from stainless steel for special or more demanding environments. Common surface treatments include hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating, and galvanized plus powder-coated finishes. Galvanizing improves corrosion resistance, while powder coating provides additional weather resistance and a cleaner, more attractive appearance.
Standard colors include green, black, gray, and white. Other RAL colors are also available upon request. The appropriate material and surface treatment can be selected according to climate conditions, service environment, appearance requirements, and expected service life.
FAQ
Yes. Welded wire fence systems can be customized not only in panel size and wire diameter, but also in mesh opening, post section, post spacing, fixing method, gate configuration, surface treatment, color, and overall fence height.
For project orders, it is recommended to confirm site conditions, foundation type, wind load, required security level, installation method, and gate positions before production. This helps ensure that the fence panels, posts, brackets, and accessories work as a complete system.
For general perimeter protection, BRC Fence and Curvy Welded Mesh Fence are commonly used because they provide a good balance of rigidity, appearance, and cost. Double Wire Fence is suitable where higher panel stiffness and impact resistance are required. For high-security sites, 358 High Security Fence is generally preferred due to its narrow mesh opening, which makes climbing and cutting more difficult.
The final selection should also consider fence height, wire diameter, mesh size, post spacing, installation environment, and required anti-climb performance.
The service life of a welded wire fence is affected by several factors, including raw material quality, welding quality, surface treatment, installation environment, and maintenance conditions. Stable and reliable welds help maintain the overall structural strength of the panel and reduce the risk of weld failure or deformation during transportation, installation, and long-term use.
