Stainless Steel Materials and Surface Treatment

Stainless steel 304 is commonly used for general industrial filtration, while 316 and 316L can be selected for applications requiring higher corrosion resistance.

Cleaning, polishing and passivation can be carried out according to product structure and application requirements.

Filter Media and Support Structure

Woven wire mesh can be used for different filtration and screening requirements, while sintered mesh provides a more stable multi-layer filtration structure. Perforated metal can be used as a support layer where additional rigidity is required.

Different media can also be combined to form multi-layer filter elements according to operating conditions.

Shapes and Connection Options

Filter elements can be manufactured in cylindrical, conical, disc-shaped and other custom forms. Threaded ends, flanges, welded fittings, end caps and other connection structures can be added according to equipment requirements.

Filtration Rating and Working Conditions

Filtration rating should be selected together with flow rate, working pressure, medium characteristics and allowable pressure drop. A finer filtration rating does not always mean a better solution, as it may also affect flow capacity and cleaning frequency.
