Defensive Barrier

Defensive Barrier

Defensive barrier is a collapsible welded mesh barrier lined with heavy-duty geotextile. After deployment, the cells are filled with soil, sand, gravel or other suitable materials to form a strong protective barrier for temporary or permanent use.

  • Mesh Opening: 50 × 50 mm, 75 × 75 mm, 100 × 100 mm, etc.
  • Wire Diameter: 4.0–6.0 mm
  • Cell Width: 0.6–1.5 m
  • Cell Height: 0.6–2.2 m
  • Cell Length: Customized
  • Structure: Single cell, multi-cell unit
  • Lining: Heavy-duty geotextile
  • Material: Low carbon steel wire
  • Surface Treatment: Galvanized, Galfan coated
  • Filling Material: Soil, sand, gravel, stone or other suitable materials

Defensive barriers are supplied in a collapsible form to reduce transport and storage volume. At the installation site, the units are unfolded, positioned and filled with locally available materials, allowing protective walls to be constructed quickly without extensive masonry or concrete work.

Multiple cells can be connected to form long straight barriers, corners or wider protective structures. The geotextile lining helps retain fine filling materials inside the welded mesh cells while allowing the outer steel structure to maintain the required shape.

Defensive barriers are mainly used for military bases, camps, checkpoints, guard posts and other high-security areas. They can be rapidly deployed to form protective walls, temporary shelters, blast barriers and perimeter defense structures. After filling with soil, sand or gravel, the units create a heavy-duty barrier with high stability and protective performance.
