Double Wire Fence Structure and Applications

Double Wire Fence is designed for projects that require a stronger and more rigid welded mesh fencing system. Each vertical wire is welded between two horizontal wires, creating the characteristic twin-wire structure. This design improves the overall stiffness of the panel and helps reduce bending or deformation during transportation, installation and long-term use.

QB METAL supplies Double Wire Fence panels in different mesh openings, wire combinations, panel sizes, post structures and surface treatments. Standard configurations such as 6/5/6 mm and 8/6/8 mm are widely used, while customized specifications can also be produced according to project requirements.

Twin-Wire Panel Structure

The twin horizontal wires provide additional support along each mesh row. Compared with conventional single-wire welded panels, this structure distributes load more effectively and improves resistance to impact and deformation.

Typical mesh openings include 50 × 200 mm and 55 × 200 mm. Panel width and height can be selected according to the required fence line, security level and installation environment.

Posts and Connection Systems

Double Wire Fence can be installed with square posts, rectangular posts, or other customized post systems. The connection method can be selected according to the post structure and project requirements.

Fence panels are typically fixed to the posts with clips, bolts, and other fittings to form a continuous fencing system. Customized connection structures can also be provided for different installation conditions.

Surface Treatment and Color Options

Low carbon steel wire is commonly used for Double Wire Fence production. Galvanizing provides a protective zinc layer for outdoor use, while powder coating or PVC coating can provide additional surface protection and color options.

Green and black are common fence colors, while other colors can be produced according to project requirements.
