Double wire fence is commonly available in 656 and 868 configurations. In these designations, the first and third numbers refer to the horizontal wire diameters, while the middle number refers to the vertical wire diameter.
The twin horizontal wires provide additional support along each mesh row, making the panel suitable for areas where higher rigidity and long-term dimensional stability are required. The flat panel design also gives the fence a clean and uniform appearance along long perimeter lines.
