Structure and Specification Options of Welded Wire Mesh Panels

Welded Wire Mesh Panels can be produced with different combinations of mesh opening, wire diameter and panel dimensions. These parameters are selected according to the required rigidity, opening size, load conditions and final application.

Panel dimensions, edge configuration and other structural details can also be adjusted to suit different fabrication and project requirements.

Mesh Opening and Wire Diameter

Smaller mesh openings provide a denser grid, while larger wire diameters increase panel rigidity and resistance to deformation. Different combinations can be produced according to load requirements, protection level and fabrication needs.

Panels are generally produced with wire diameters of 2.0 mm or greater, while lighter wire is more commonly used for continuously welded mesh rolls.

Panel Edges and Dimensions

Panels can be supplied with overhanging wires or flush-trimmed edges according to subsequent processing and project requirements.

Length and width can also be produced to specified dimensions, helping reduce additional cutting and preparation during downstream fabrication.

Cutting, Bending and Secondary Fabrication

Welded panels can be further processed by cutting, bending, framing and secondary welding. Flat mesh panels can therefore be fabricated into guards, partitions, cages, baskets and other custom wire mesh components.

Processing dimensions and structures can be produced according to drawings, samples or specified requirements.
